About the role - Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ke tēnei mahi

This is an exciting and unique opportunity not to be missed! We have a full-time role available for an experienced and innovative Marketing, Communications, and Fundraising professional in our forward-thinking and people-focused not-for-profit organisation.

In this role you’ll use your creative skills to tell stories that will capture the hearts and minds of our supporters and donors. You will champion our people on the front line; sharing their success stories and providing them with the tools and resources they need to transform the lives of children, young people, families, whanāu and older people in our communities.

You will develop and implement fundraising initiatives and coordinate internal and external marketing collateral and communication, including our website and social media content.

Who is an ideal applicant - Ko wai he kaitono tōtika

Our ideal Candidate will:

  • Hold a relevant qualification or equivalent experience in communications, marketing or fundraising
  • Be able to develop and build strong relationships, and communicate in a clear, engaging and succinct manner that is honest, open, professional and non-judgemental
  • Be someone who is self-motivated and embraces change through realising opportunities, challenging the status quo where necessary and proactively looking for improvement while supporting others ideas
  • Have experience working with conflicting priorities, with a high attention to detail and proven ability in time management, organisational and planning skills
  • Have sound computer skills ideally including familiarity with Office 365, Mailchimp, Survey Monkey, Raiser’s Edge database software and design software such as InDesign
