Welcome Catherine Jordan

We welcomed Catherine Jordan, our new Enliven Community Services Coordinator, whose role supports older people to stay connected, independent, and well through programmes such as HomeShare and Falls Prevention.

What does your role involve?

As Enliven Community Services Coordinator, I support and coordinate services for older people, including managing the HomeShare programme and supporting the Falls Prevention and Day programmes in Rangiora, Canterbury.

One of my favourite expressions is:

In a world where you can be anything, be kind.

What is your favourite pastime?

I have two young kids, so my time is usually spent doing some sort of kid-related activity! However, when able, I do enjoy catching up with friends and trying the new restaurants/cafes that are popping up in Christchurch, listening to music, cooking and reading.

Help finish this sentence….

If I could have one dessert for the rest of my life...

Sticky date pudding, with all the trimmings - cream, custard and ice cream! Followed closely by crème brulee or a good homemade apple crumble.

Life is sweeter when…

Everyone is happy and healthy, and I arrive on time for things.

My motto is…

Life is short. Take the trip. Buy the shoes. Eat the cake!!
