Who we are
Presbyterian Support has been providing social services in the Upper South Island for over 116 years. While we’re separate from the Presbyterian Church, our name reflects our heritage and the values we share.
We’re part of a national federation of seven regional Presbyterian Support organisations. Each operates independently to meet local needs, but we collaborate to share knowledge, resources, and best practice.
Together, we are one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s largest not-for-profit health and social service providers. To learn about services in other regions, visit ps.org.nz.
Our vision is for a compassionate, equitable and inclusive society. Our mission is to enhance the mana of tamariki (children), rangatahi (young people), whānau (families) and kaumātua (older people) so they can be safe, resilient and connected.
Presbyterian Support Upper South Island is a registered charity and relies on the support of individuals, groups and organisations to carry out our important work in the community. If you would like to help us make a difference please consider making a donation.
