All of our programmes (including HomeShare) require members to observe the ‘golden rules’:

• Stay home if unwell.
• Members must use the NZ COVID tracer app and scan the QR code at our sites or register their details with the programme host upon arrival.
• Temperature checks will occur upon entry to our vehicles or sites. Members may be asked to remain at home if a high temperature is recorded.
• Members must maintain a 1 metre distance from staff and other members. Staff will assist members if physical support is required.
• Members must wear a face mask/covering. (This may be removed when eating/drinking, taking medication or communicating with others who may be hard of hearing.)
• Cough or sneeze into elbows or by covering the mouth and nose with tissues. Dispose of used tissues and paper towels immediately.
• Wash and dry hands, or sanitise, regularly.
   

To help us maintain the new distancing requirements, changes to our services are as follows:

• Day programmes: Group numbers will now be restricted and programmes will operate fortnightly rather than weekly.
• Pick up/drop off: If possible, we kindly request that members find their own way to and from our programmes. Transport will still be provided if necessary.
• In-home visits: For those members who are unable, or reluctant, to comply with distancing and face covering rules, we are pleased to offer alternative services including home visits and vehicle outings.

Lastly, all of our sites (including HomeShare properties and vehicles) will continue to maintain strict health and safety protocols including regular cleaning and disinfecting. Stocks of hygiene resources, such as disposable masks, tissues, handwash, sanitary wipes and hand sanitiser will also be available.
