Our team in Ashburton recently received 100 bright and cheerful distraction bags, generously donated by the local Altrusa group. Filled with colouring books, pencils, and stickers, these small packs are already helping create moments of calm for children and families during challenging times.
When things feel overwhelming, having something simple to focus on can make all the difference. Our Family Works team have been sharing the bags with parents, offering ideas to help children reset, refocus, and feel a little more at ease.
